Seizure Detection
Seizure detection algorithms have advanced a great deal in the last ten years and Persyst 11 is the current state of the art. It has a high detection rate with low false positives. Unlike previous generation products it calibrates automatically and requires no parameterization or settings changes in order to function optimally. Persyst 11 seizure detection begins when acquistion begins.
Persyst 11 is the only seizure detection software that provides a seizure trend. This is a calculation of seizure probability that is displayed in synchronized fashion with the other qEEG trends being calculated.

Electrode Artifact Detection and Rejection
Electrode artifacts can significantly reduce the quality of seizure detection and qEEG calculations. Persyst 11 is the only product that constantly monitors for electrode signal quality. Persyst 11 provides the ability to optionally remove artifact dominated signals from qEEG calculations.
Persyst 11 provides an easy to use electrode quality display to alert medical staff when an electrode has been producing artifact for a significant period of time. Technicians can use this information to decide when to adjust or replace electrodes, which can significantly improve overall recording quality.

EEG Platform Integration
Persyst 11 is completely integrated with the software from your EEG manufacturer. On acquisition there are no extra steps required in order to begin automated detection and trending. During remote monitoring the qEEG trend display is automatically updated and synchronized with the EEG display. On review the qEEG trend display opens automatically and is again synchronized with the EEG display.
