Persyst introduces the fifth-generation EEG Suite: The most advanced detection, monitoring and analysis software is also the easiest to use with dramatic advancements in Persyst display technologies and a highly-streamlined user interface.
Reveal™ Rosetta: Reached a milestone by achieving the highest seizure detection sensitivity and the lowest false-positive rate—creating the first seizure detector that performs at near-expert performance in real-world conditions. And, not just with perfectly clean recordings and classic temporal seizures, but across the widest range of recording environments, clinical applications and seizure morphologies. In other words, Reveal™ Rosetta is designed to perform when and where you need it most. It has been designed for both the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and the Intensive Care Unit, for patients as young as one month of age. This provides you with seizure detection that provides consistency, simplicity and power for your clinical team.
MagicMarker Bedside: Developed in consultation with neurologists, technicians and non-EEG clinical staff to be user-friendly for your entire clinical team for monitoring and review. By integrating Reveal™ Rosetta with the Comprehensive EEG Monitoring trend panel, you have a consistent, easy-to-use platform for checking your Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Intensive Care Unit patients. MagicMarker Advanced: Fully integrated with Insight II EEG Review, and provides a suite of advanced review, analysis and research tools for the advanced EEG'er.
ClearTrend: Adaptive Artifact Rejection uses sophisticated neural-network algorithms to detect most artifact. Any bad channel that will affect the MagicMarker trend is dynamically removed to preserve the accuracy of the trend display. This means more accurate trends that are easier to interpret, and notification thresholds that are easier to set. ElectroDx: Using ClearTrend technology to recognize artifact, ElectroDx detects bad channels on-the-fly and alerts clinicians with a simple, easy-to-read display—regardless of the cause of artifact. Rhythmic Run Detection and Display (R2D2): Bridges the gap between seizure detection and review with a technology called "seizureprints." Like fingerprints and voiceprints, a seizureprint provides a graphical representation of a seizure's evolution, so that the clinician can visualize the morphology, spatial distribution and frequency of seizure activity at a glance. Seizure review is improved with a bird's-eye view never before possible. Because R2D2is highly resistant to artifact, and because it is easy to read, the information provided by seizureprints is greatly improved over current text-based seizure indications. Comprehensive EEG Monitoring with Single-Panel Trending: No more searching for the appropriate trend panel for different clinical applications. Rhythmic Run Detection and Display (R2D2), EEG Asymmetry Indices, Suppression Ratios and aEEG provide a single effective trend panel for most clinical applications. Regional and Hemispheric Asymmetry Indices: Rather than relying on a-priori knowledge of where frequency changes associated with ischemic changes or seizures will occur, the EEG Asymmetry Index (EASI) looks for asymmetries between homologous electrodes in any frequency band. Combined with Adaptive Artifact Rejection (AAR), EASI provides a simple, powerful and flexible indication of any regional or hemispheric change in EEG activity—with unparalleled accuracy. Regional and Hemispheric Asymmetry Spectrograms: Taking EASI technology another step, Relative EEG Asymmetry (REASI) Spectrograms provide a simple indication of the frequency and region/hemisphere of EEG asymmetry. Combined with Adaptive Artifact Rejection (AAR), REASI Spectrograms provide unparalleled sensitivity and accuracy. MagicMarker Email: When thresholds are exceeded, MagicMarker can email you with the notification, including images of the trend and EEG waveforms at the time the thresholds were exceeded. Plain-language seizure notifications and EEG asymmetry trends make threshold setting simple and powerful, while ClearTrend Adaptive Artifact Rejection minimizes false-positive notifications.
Persyst EEG Suite Version 2008.10.22: The final release of the fourth-generation Persyst EEG Suite brings multiple refinements and updates to EEG file format support.
2009 will usher in the release of the fifth-generation EEG Suite with dramatic advancements in EEG monitoring and analysis technology. Updated Adaptive Artifact Rejection for improved performance on very low amplitude recordings.
Persyst EEG Suite Version 2007.10.08. This new version of the Persyst EEG Suite marks a significant step forward in the use of digital EEG for the monitoring and treatment of critically ill and EMU patients. In addition to these new features, we continue to enhance the program to improve your experience with the Persyst EEG Suite. The following enhancements have also been made to our family of products:
Persyst EEG Suite Version 2007.03.12a. This release includes these enhancements:
Persyst EEG Suite Version 2006.10.10 includes: File format updates for Grass-Telefactor (video now supported) Natus-Biologic CEEGraph (feature enhancements), Xltek (feature enhancements), and others. MagicMarker's handling of settings files has been simplified (automatic loading of previous scan parameters). Reveal™ spike and seizure detection: Automatic Sensitivity (uV/mm) is more robust, i.e., it will determine if there is sufficient background recorded to complete calculations. AutoLearn feature is complete for automatic notifications prompted from patient-dependent detectors. Find out more from the "What's New in This Version" link on the download page! HERE Persyst EEG Suite Version 2006.01.26 and new Multi-EEG Format Database version 2005.09.01! AutoLearn patient-dependent detection makes its debut, with sensitivity that closely approaches human performance! Create your own high-performance PNN (Probablistic Neural Network) detectors in less than a second just by marking the waveform of interest. Incremental learning is supported, too. (Manuscript: A neural network method for automatic and incremental learning applied to patient dependent seizure detection, Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology, 116 (2005) pp. 1785-1795 (reprints available). AutoLearn is currently a beta release: Contact Persyst for a Trial Key if you would like a test-drive!). Plus, new Burst-Supression Ratio trends in MagicMarker, streamlined MagicMarker settings files, updated EEG file format support, and more. Persyst EEG Suite Version 2005.03.29. New Multi-EEG Format Database! Plus, faster scanning of multi-file recordings with Reveal™, updated Reveal™ event notifications, updated EEG file format support, and more. December 24, 2004 We know that you've been good all year, so we've been working hard for you (you are the focus of all we do!) to put some extra-special goodies into your EEG Suite stocking (hung by the chimney with care...;-) Persyst EEG Suite Version 2004.11.22. New QuickStats tool in Insight II for one-touch measurement of voltage and frequency—just drag a box around the waveform of interest to measure. Plus, a faster maximum paging speed, enhancements to channel subset selections (especially handy for grids) and new central-location storage of montages, custom filters and more (this lets you set up one review station, then "clone" the settings for the rest of them over your network). iMagicMarker brings dramatic speed improvements (7x faster processing and 10-20x faster review). There are even new tools for the Electrode Map Editor for even faster creation/editing of custom maps for your grid patients.
