New Ventures Development Manager

As the New Ventures Development Manager, you will be an essential member of our team responsible for the development, analysis, and implementation of new strategic initiatives for the Company. You will be a key collaborator, relationship builder, negotiator and spokesperson for our company with our suppliers, resellers, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage relationships with world class physicians, thought leaders and research centers.
  • Ensure that the company operates within the scope of regulatory compliance and actively supports the protection of the company's intellectual property.
  • Work with the Product Management Team to develop new products and enhance existing products throughout their life-cycle.
  • Monitor product acceptance based on input from product support and ongoing evaluation of quantitative and qualitative information from end-users.
  • Establish and maintain contact with clinical experts for understanding of clinical needs, product opportunities and technology direction.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Develop grant submissions and manage relationships between involved parties.
  • Work with PI to develop and manage clinical trials and studies.

 

Qualifications:

This dynamic, hands-on leader will be able to simultaneously work as an individual contributor, a thought leader, and a manager responsible for the development of new and existing Persyst's EEG products throughout their life-cycle. Proven ability to generate novel and innovative solutions to challenging problems. Must possess business acumen and the analytical ability to assess the needs of an organization across departmental and functional lines. Exceptional relationship builder who builds trust easily with a proven track record of motivating, mentoring and managing both internal resources and external collaborators. Must demonstrate the highest ethical standards and actively promotes respect and integrity in all dealings both inside and outside the company, in addition to the following:

  • Postgraduate degree in computer science or health-related field.
  • 4+ years of increasingly responsible leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Medical device product management/implementation experience.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and standards associated with approval and introduction of medical devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
  • Skilled at making effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management, distributors, sales and support representatives and clinicians.
